The Opportunity

We are hiring a full-time Sales Development Representative to be the front door of our business. Your job is simple in concept and high-impact in practice: get the right people on the phone, build rapport, qualify their goals, and set appointments for the team members who will deliver the value and close.

You'll work two audiences with the same playbook. On one side, you'll engage prospective agents, both candidates already in our recruiting database and fresh applicants coming in through our social ads, job boards, and referral channels, and set screening appointments for our leadership team. On the other, you'll work our buyer and seller pipeline, including our Realtor.com leads program, and set appointments for our agents.

At the core, this is a concierge role. You're the first voice people hear, and your job is to listen well, qualify quickly and sharply, and hand off warm - whether the next conversation is with a recruiter or a closing agent.

Responsibilities

  • Make high-volume outbound calls, texts, and emails to prospective agents and to buyer/seller leads using our proven scripts and systems
  • Engage new inquiries within minutes — speed to lead is non-negotiable
  • Qualify each conversation on motivation, timeline, and fit, and set appointments for the team member best positioned to close
  • Run consistent same-day, next-day, and long-term nurture cadences — no lead goes cold on your watch
  • Log all activity, notes, and pipeline status accurately in our CRM
  • Communicate pipeline intel and lead updates clearly to agents and leadership
  • Commit to weekly 1:1 coaching, script practice, and tech training
  • Build deep familiarity with the Utah real estate market and with our agent value proposition so you can speak credibly to either audience
  • Represent the Utah Life brand with professionalism and a concierge mindset on every conversation

Qualifications

What We're Looking For

  • Proven phone sales chops — appointment setting, SDR, ISA, recruiting, or high-volume sales experience where you tracked to a quota
  • Comfortable with objections, confident with a script, and persistent without being pushy
  • Excellent written and verbal communication — you sound like a professional in every channel
  • Strong follow-up discipline — you do what you say you're going to do, every time
  • Self-motivated and accountable — you don't need someone standing over your shoulder
  • Coachable and humble — you want feedback because you want to win
  • Comfortable with CRM tools (i..e. Go High Level, Follow Up Boss and/or Brivity experience a bonus)
  • Real estate license or industry experience is a plus, not a requirement — we will train the right person
  • High school diploma required
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Compensation

$40,000 - $75,000 USD Yearly

This is a commission based position.
