Responsibilities

  • Evaluate clients' financial and credit profiles to assess their eligibility for mortgage loans or refinancing options.
  • Develop and maintain strong connections with real estate agents, financial consultants, borrowers, and builders to increase referral sources and create loan opportunities.
  • Guide clients through the entire loan application process, from initial consultation to closing, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and processed efficiently.
  • Stay informed about the latest mortgage rates, loan products, and regulatory changes to provide clients with accurate and timely advice.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, loan processors, and internal departments to ensure swift loan approvals while complying with lender guidelines and federal regulations.
  • Participate in community and real estate industry events to enhance the company’s visibility and generate new business prospects.
  • Utilize a variety of marketing and sales strategies to promote mortgage services and expand the client base.

Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or in a comparable position within the mortgage lending sector.
  • Possession of a current, valid NMLS license is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated success in originating a variety of mortgage loans, with comprehensive knowledge of mortgage products, regulations, and industry guidelines.
  • Strong skills in analyzing financial information and understanding market trends to provide optimal mortgage solutions for clients.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities to engage effectively with clients, real estate professionals, and financial institutions.
  • Proficient in mortgage loan software and familiar with the entire loan process, from pre-approval through closing.
  • Capable of working both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Dedicated to upholding high ethical standards and ensuring full compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • A bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related discipline is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills and the capacity to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.

Compensation

$80,000 - $135,000 USD Yearly

This is a commission based position.
