Your Opportunity

Working with buyers in the field is one of the best ways to build practical real estate experience.

EO&A is looking for a Showing Assistant to support our agents and buyer clients in the Sacramento area. You'll help coordinate and conduct property showings, communicate with buyers, learn local inventory and neighborhoods, and gain firsthand experience with the home-buying process.

This opportunity is a good fit for someone who is newly licensed or currently working toward their California real estate license and wants to build confidence working with clients while learning alongside experienced real estate professionals.

Candidates who are currently working toward their California real estate license are welcome to apply. An active California real estate license is required before performing Showing Assistant duties.

Responsibilities

Once licensed and eligible to perform Showing Assistant duties, you will:

  • Coordinate and conduct property showings for buyers working with EO&A agents
  • Communicate with buyers before, during, and after property tours
  • Organize showing schedules and property itineraries
  • Learn about each buyer's priorities and communicate relevant feedback to the lead agent
  • Develop knowledge of Sacramento-area inventory, neighborhoods, and market activity
  • Provide prompt, professional follow-up after showings
  • Maintain accurate client notes and updates in the team's CRM
  • Communicate regularly with lead agents about buyer activity and feedback
  • Attend inspections and other buyer appointments when appropriate
  • Learn how experienced agents guide buyers through the home-search and purchase process
  • Participate in training, coaching, role-play, and accountability
  • Develop the communication, organization, and client-service skills needed to grow in real estate

Requirements

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds an active California real estate license or is actively working toward obtaining one
  • Understands that an active California real estate license is required before performing Showing Assistant duties
  • Is serious about developing a career in real estate
  • Enjoys working directly with people and providing strong client service
  • Is organized, dependable, responsive, and punctual
  • Communicates professionally with clients and team members
  • Is willing to develop strong knowledge of Sacramento-area inventory and communities
  • Is receptive to coaching, feedback, role-play, and accountability
  • Is comfortable learning and consistently using CRM and real estate technology
  • Has reliable transportation and is comfortable driving throughout the Sacramento area
  • Understands that working with buyers may require schedule flexibility, including some evenings and weekends
  • Works well as part of a team

Previous real estate production experience isn't required. We're looking for someone who is willing to learn, practice, and consistently develop their skills.

The goal is to help you gain meaningful experience in the field while providing excellent support to EO&A's agents and their buyer clients.

Compensation & Licensing

This is a commission-based real estate position. There is no hourly wage or base salary.

An active California real estate license is required before performing Showing Assistant duties and participating in transaction-related activities associated with this position.

Once licensed, agents are responsible for maintaining their California real estate license and for any applicable professional expenses, including but not limited to membership in the appropriate local REALTOR® association/board and Multiple Listing Service (MLS).

Responsibilities

  • Graduate from PLACE New Agent Launch 
  • Work with sales agent to guide their clients to homes
  • Provide detailed, written feedback to confirm or refine clients’ search criteria
  • Write and negotiate offers on behalf of the sales agent and clients
  • Lead generate a minimum of 10 hours a week
  • Participate in weekly script practice per team standards
  • Participate in team activities per team standards
  • Commit to weekly 1:1 coaching session, weekly trainings and Partner Call
  • Track tasks and activities in PLACE Technology

Compensation

$60,000 - $100,000 USD Yearly

This is a commission based position.
