Job Summary

Become a key member of The Monica Hayes Team as a Showing Assistant, supporting the home buying journey every step of the way. Located in the dynamic Iowa City area, you’ll collaborate with seasoned real estate experts to deliver outstanding client service. This role is ideal for individuals enthusiastic about real estate, eager to expand their knowledge, and motivated to be part of a successful team. As a Showing Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in guiding clients toward their ideal homes while building valuable industry experience.

• Assist lead agents by showing homes to prospective buyers and renters.
• Conduct open houses and other events to showcase properties.
• Provide clients with information about the local housing market and neighborhoods.
• Coordinate with clients to schedule property viewings and follow up on inquiries.
• Ensure properties are in excellent condition for showings, including staging and minor maintenance.
• Gather client feedback and communicate it to the lead agent to refine property searches.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.

• Valid real estate license in the state of Iowa or the ability to obtain one within 90 days.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport quickly with clients and team members.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• Flexible schedule to accommodate evening and weekend showings.
• Proficient in technology, including the use of smartphones, tablets, and real estate software.
• Self-motivated with a strong desire to learn and grow in the real estate industry.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Previous experience in real estate or a related field is preferred but not required.

$31,000 - $60,000 USD Yearly

This is a commission based position.
