We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal/Legal Assistant to support our real estate legal team. Located at 8926 Crew Drive, our company specializes in residential and commercial property transactions along the coast. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, assisting with contract preparation, document review, and ensuring compliance with real estate laws and regulations. • Assist attorneys with preparation and review of real estate contracts, leases, and closing documents
• Conduct title searches and coordinate with title companies to ensure clear property titles
• Manage and organize legal files, documents, and correspondence related to real estate transactions
• Communicate with clients, lenders, and other parties to facilitate smooth transaction processes
• Prepare and file legal documents with courts and government agencies as required
• Perform due diligence and research on property records, zoning laws, and regulations
• Support the legal team in resolving issues related to property disputes and compliance matters

• Associate’s degree or paralegal certificate from an accredited institution preferred
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a paralegal or legal assistant, preferably in real estate or property law
• Strong knowledge of real estate contracts, title documents, and closing procedures
• Proficient in legal research and document preparation
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with local real estate laws and regulations in Emerald Isle, USA is a plus
• High level of discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information

$17.00 - $20.00 USD Hourly
