Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and assess client financial and credit data to determine eligibility for financing or refinancing.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with real estate agents, financial planners, individual borrowers, and builders to build a network and generate loan business.
  • Guide clients through the loan application process, from initial interview to closing, ensuring all necessary documentation is collected and processed efficiently.
  • Stay informed of current mortgage rates, loan programs, and regulatory compliance issues to provide accurate and up-to-date advice to clients.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, loan processors, and other internal staff to expedite loan approval while ensuring compliance with lender guidelines and federal regulations.
  • Participate in community and real estate events to enhance company reputation and visibility, fostering new business opportunities.
  • Utilize various marketing and sales strategies to promote lending services and expand client base.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Mortgage Loan Originator or in a similar role within the mortgage lending industry.
  • Current and valid NMLS license is required.
  • Proven track record of successfully originating various types of mortgage loans and a deep understanding of mortgage products, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Strong ability to analyze financial data and comprehend market trends to offer the best mortgage solutions to clients.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients, real estate agents, and financial institutions.
  • Proficiency in using mortgage loan software and understanding of the application process from pre-approval to closing.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining high ethical standards and compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.

Compensation

$67,000 - $200,000 USD Yearly

This is a commission based position.
