Position Summary:

• Proactively initiate sales calls and build strong community connections to drive loan funding
• Gather borrower information and documentation to complete applications, structure loans, and coordinate disclosures with underwriting and processing teams
• Review interest rates and secure loan locks with borrowers in accordance with company policies, ensuring locks are placed at least 15 days prior to closing
• Participate in builder and realtor events, status meetings, phase releases, and special functions to nurture relationships and elevate customer service
• Maintain prompt communication by returning calls within 24 hours to buyers and associates
• Establish and sustain positive relationships with borrowers, builders, realtors, and processors, delivering top-tier customer service
• Travel to communities as necessary to meet with borrowers and facilitate loan applications
• Stay current on mortgage products, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae guidelines, and internal policies to effectively represent Envoy’s offerings
• Keep comprehensive and accurate records in the origination system to ensure smooth information flow regarding loan applications, statuses, communications, lock-ins, projected closings, incentives, and expenses
• Attend weekly pipeline meetings or calls with processors to maintain thorough knowledge of each file
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

• Ideally 1-2 years of experience as a Loan Originator or Loan Originator Associate
• Commitment to investing the time and effort required for success
• Proficient with computers and familiar with Microsoft Office suite
• Energetic, outgoing, with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills combined with appropriate assertiveness
• Highly motivated by personal and professional goals
• Dedicated to maintaining ethical standards in all business and personal interactions
• Exceptionally organized with strong attention to detail
• Self-driven with a robust work ethic
• Capable of independent learning and self-study
• Proactive, self-starting attitude
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle
• Ability to obtain NMLS License and complete state-specific training requirements
