Listing Agent — Ann Arbor’s Top Real Estate Listing Team

Position Summary
The Bouma Group is the leading listing team in the Ann Arbor market, known for precision pricing, elite marketing, and a “no surprises / no mistakes” client experience. We are seeking a professional Listing Agent who is skilled at winning and servicing listings at a high level, communicates with confidence, and operates within proven systems — not personal improvisation.

This is a career role on a standards-driven team with full operations support (TCs, marketing, admin) so you can focus on listing, negotiating, and closing — not paperwork.

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

Winning Listings

  • Conduct in-person listing consultations using the team’s presentation framework
  • Deliver clear market positioning strategies with supporting data (CMA, comps, PPSF, absorption, etc.)
  • Secure signed listing agreements with strong rapport, confidence, and objection handling
  • Protect the fee structure, pricing strategy, and team reputation in every negotiation

Service & Client Management

  • Educate sellers on showing strategy, offer patterns, and market conditions
  • Communicate proactively from pre-listing through close (no waiting for the client to ask)
  • Present offers and guide sellers through competitive offer analysis and terms
  • Negotiate price and terms to maximize seller outcome while minimizing risk
  • Conduct price and positioning conversations when listings underperform

Collaboration & Team Standards

  • Work with marketing, staging, and ops to prepare listings to launch flawlessly
  • Ensure all listing data, notes, and timelines are accurate in the CRM and tracker
  • Attend team meetings, coaching sessions, and training to sharpen skills
  • Follow all team scripts, systems, timelines, and brand standards — no freelancing
  • Represent the team brand with professionalism on all appointments and communications

  • Maintain a disciplined weekly schedule focused on listing acquisition and client care
  • Achieve/exceed KPIs for listing appointments, signed agreements, days-to-market accuracy, and list-to-sale price ratio

Compensation

$100,000 - $150,000 USD Yearly
