Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and strategic Real Estate Listing Specialist to spearhead our seller representation efforts throughout the Chicagoland region. In this vital position, you will serve as a trusted advisor to homeowners, expertly guiding them through the process of selling their most valuable asset. Your duties will include delivering compelling Listing Presentations, designing and implementing targeted marketing strategies using MRED/ConnectMLS, and skillfully negotiating contracts to achieve optimal sale outcomes. Key Responsibilities

  • Seller Consultation: Lead professional listing presentations that emphasize our distinct value proposition, assist sellers in formulating pricing strategies, and develop thorough "go-to-market" plans.
  • Strategic Marketing: Manage all aspects of listing preparation, including coordinating professional photography, virtual staging, and launching focused digital marketing campaigns to maximize property visibility.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth Comparative Market Analyses (CMA) to establish competitive listing prices that reflect current market trends and absorption rates within the Chicago area.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Advocate for sellers during offer negotiations, inspections, and attorney reviews to safeguard their interests and facilitate seamless transaction closings.
  • Lead Generation: Actively cultivate new seller leads through networking, targeting expired listings, and utilizing both personal and professional connections to sustain a steady inventory pipeline.

Qualifications

  • Valid Illinois Real Estate Broker License (mandatory).
  • Demonstrated success in real estate sales, with a focus on seller representation.
  • Extensive knowledge of Chicagoland neighborhoods and local housing market dynamics.
  • Excellent presentation skills, capable of clearly communicating complex information such as CMAs to clients.
  • Proficiency with MRED, social media marketing platforms, and transaction management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Market and stage properties for optimal presentation and increased buyer interest.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to determine competitive listing prices.
  • Negotiate offers and counteroffers to achieve the best possible terms for clients.
  • Coordinate and oversee property showings, open houses, and client meetings.
  • Prepare and manage all necessary documentation, including contracts and disclosures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local real estate market trends and regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the entire sales process.

Qualifications

  • Active Real Estate License in the state of Illinois
  • Proven experience as a Listing Agent or similar role in real estate
  • Strong knowledge of the local real estate market and neighborhoods
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in real estate software and MLS systems
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Customer-focused approach with a high level of professionalism
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Compensation

$70,000 - $100,000 USD Yearly

This is a commission based position.
