Job Summary
We are looking for a motivated and strategic Real Estate Listing Specialist to spearhead our seller representation efforts in the Chicagoland region. In this pivotal position, you will serve as the trusted advisor for homeowners, guiding them confidently through the process of selling their most valuable asset. Your role will involve delivering compelling Listing Presentations, implementing robust marketing plans utilizing MRED/ConnectMLS, and skillfully negotiating contracts to achieve the highest possible sale price. If you excel in marketing, possess in-depth knowledge of local pricing trends, and have a proven ability to close deals, we invite you to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Seller Consultation: Lead professional listing presentations that clearly communicate our unique value, assist sellers with pricing strategies, and outline the comprehensive "go-to-market" approach.
  • Strategic Marketing: Manage all aspects of listing preparation, including coordinating professional photography, virtual staging, and executing targeted digital marketing campaigns to maximize property visibility.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough Comparative Market Analyses (CMA) to establish competitive listing prices that reflect current market dynamics and absorption rates in Chicago.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Advocate for sellers throughout offer negotiations, inspection processes, and attorney reviews to safeguard their interests and facilitate seamless closings.
  • Lead Generation: Actively cultivate new seller leads through networking, expired listings, and leveraging your sphere of influence to maintain a steady flow of inventory.

Qualifications

  • Valid Illinois Real Estate Broker License (mandatory).
  • Demonstrated success in real estate sales, with a strong focus on seller representation.
  • Extensive familiarity with Chicagoland neighborhoods and local housing market trends.
  • Excellent presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex data (such as CMAs) for clients.
  • Proficient in MRED, social media marketing platforms, and transaction management tools.

Responsibilities

  • Market and stage properties for optimal presentation and increased buyer interest.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to determine competitive listing prices.
  • Negotiate offers and counteroffers to achieve the best possible terms for clients.
  • Coordinate and oversee property showings, open houses, and client meetings.
  • Prepare and manage all necessary documentation, including contracts and disclosures.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local real estate market trends and regulations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the entire sales process.

Qualifications

  • Active Real Estate License in the state of Illinois
  • Proven experience as a Listing Agent or similar role in real estate
  • Strong knowledge of the local real estate market and neighborhoods
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in real estate software and MLS systems
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Customer-focused approach with a high level of professionalism
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Compensation

$70,000 - $100,000 USD Yearly

This is a commission based position.
