Buying a home can be exciting, stressful, and full of questions. A good buyer's agent does more than open doors, they help clients understand their options, make informed decisions, and move through the process with confidence.

EO&A is looking for a California-licensed real estate agent who enjoys working with buyers and wants to develop their business in the greater Sacramento area.

As a Buyer's Agent, you'll work with prospective homebuyers from the initial consultation through showings, offers, inspections, and closing. You'll have access to coaching, systems, technology, marketing resources, and a team environment while remaining responsible for developing relationships, following up consistently, and providing excellent client service.

Responsibilities

As a Buyer's Agent with EO&A, you will:

  • Build relationships with prospective homebuyers
  • Respond to and follow up with buyer opportunities generated through the team
  • Prospect and maintain relationships with leads, your database, and sphere
  • Conduct buyer consultations to understand clients' goals, priorities, timing, and home-search criteria
  • Educate buyers about the home-buying process
  • Research available properties and stay current on local inventory
  • Schedule and conduct property showings
  • Help clients evaluate properties based on their needs and goals
  • Prepare and present offers, contracts, and counteroffers
  • Negotiate on behalf of buyer clients
  • Help clients understand important steps and timelines throughout the transaction
  • Coordinate and communicate with lenders, inspectors, escrow professionals, and other transaction partners
  • Maintain consistent communication with clients from consultation through closing
  • Use the team's CRM to manage contacts, follow-up, appointments, and opportunities
  • Develop repeat and referral business through ongoing client relationships
  • Build knowledge of Sacramento-area neighborhoods, inventory, pricing, and market conditions
  • Participate in coaching, training, role-play, and accountability

Requirements

We're looking for someone who:

  • Holds an active California real estate license
  • Enjoys working directly with homebuyers
  • Is willing to prospect and follow up consistently
  • Communicates clearly and professionally
  • Is responsive, organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple clients
  • Is comfortable conducting buyer consultations and property showings
  • Is willing to continually strengthen their contract and negotiation skills
  • Is receptive to coaching, feedback, role-play, and accountability
  • Is comfortable using a CRM and real estate technology
  • Wants to develop strong knowledge of the greater Sacramento real estate market
  • Has reliable transportation and is comfortable traveling throughout the area for client appointments and showings
  • Understands that buyer schedules may require flexibility, including some evenings and weekends
  • Works well with agents, lenders, inspectors, escrow professionals, and other transaction partners

Previous buyer-agent production is helpful but isn't required. We're interested in licensed agents who enjoy working with buyers and are committed to developing the skills and habits needed to build a successful buyer business.

Compensation & Professional Expenses

This is a 100% commission-based real estate sales position. There is no hourly wage or base salary.

Agents are responsible for maintaining their California real estate license and for any applicable professional expenses, including but not limited to membership in the appropriate local REALTOR® association/board and Multiple Listing Service (MLS).

Compensation varies based on activity, transactions closed, commission agreements, and individual production.

Responsibilities

  • Execute PLACE lead generation systems weekly  
  • Conduct two open houses monthly 
  • Convert prospecting and lead generation activities to appointments
  • Participate in weekly script practice per team standards
  • Participate in team activities per team standards
  • Commit to weekly 1:1 coaching session, weekly trainings, and Partner Call
  • Consult with buyers, convert with signed buyer agreements and identify homes
  • Write and negotiate offers on behalf of your buyers
  • Track activities and clients with PLACE Technology

Qualifications

You are an intrinsically motivated sales professional with a competitive spirit. You are excellent at building rapport, listening to the needs of others and identifying solutions. Prospecting and lead generation are your strength zones. Overcoming objections comes naturally. You are a strong communicator and committed to service.

Compensation

$60,000 - $100,000 USD Yearly

This is a commission based position.
