We are seeking an experienced, high-achieving Mortgage Loan Officer who desires more than a conventional desk role and standard compensation. This is a distinctive partnership opportunity for an MLO ready to deliver outstanding production, lead and grow a successful branch, and become the go-to lending partner for a top-tier real estate sales team with consistent buyer and seller activity.
This role is ideal for an MLO who envisions lending as a relationship-driven, integrated, and referral-based business rather than a purely transactional process.
You will work hand-in-hand with a well-established PLACE-powered real estate team that consistently generates inbound buyer and seller leads, values speed, transparency, and exceptional client service, and seeks a long-term mortgage partner—not just another lender passing through.
Here, you won’t be just “one of many.” You will be the lender.
Responsibilities
Originate and close residential mortgage loans with excellence and speed
Serve as the primary mortgage partner for our real estate sales team's leads
Collaborate closely with agents to convert, pre-approve, and close buyers
Build, grow, and eventually lead a branch or production pod
Maintain strong referral relationships with agents, builders, and partners
Deliver a best-in-class borrower experience from pre-approval to closing
Qualifications
Prior experience as a Mortgage Loan Officer (required)
Verifiable closed loan volume (recent production history required)
Active or eligible NMLS license
Strong understanding of purchase transactions (not just refi)
Entrepreneurial mindset with a desire to build something meaningful
High integrity, strong communication skills, and team-first mentality
This is not a training role. This is a growth and leadership role.
Compensation
$100,000 - $180,000 USD Yearly
This is a commission based position.
