As our Vacation Rental Operations Assistant, you'll be the boots on the ground helping ensure our properties are running smoothly and our guests are well taken care of. This is a dynamic role with a wide range of responsibilities, perfect for someone who is proactive, organized, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate day-to-day operations: cleaners, maintenance, runners, vendors
• Communicate with guests daily, including check-ins/-outs and inquiries
• Respond promptly to urgent or emergency maintenance issues
• Manage work orders from creation to completion
• Take reservations via phone
• Assist with onboarding new properties and building strong owner relationships
• Maintain property profiles and documents
• Manage distribution channels (Airbnb, VRBO, direct booking, etc.)
• Conduct market analyses and create proformas
• Update nightly pricing weekly based on demand trends
• Perform monthly property inspections and report on unit condition
• Handle general upkeep and basic maintenance tasks
• Assist with social media marketing (Instagram, Facebook, Mailchimp, etc.)
• Occasionally run errands including linen drop-offs/pickups
• Help load/unload laundry as needed

What We’re Looking For (Required):

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable SUV or van with insurance
• Able to lift 30 lbs+
• Willingness to occasionally work weekends and evenings
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Professional and confident communication skills, especially by phone
• Ability to troubleshoot basic issues (appliances, TVs, etc.)
• Independent, reliable, and responsive
• Detail-oriented with a high standard of quality

Bonus Points (Preferred but Not Required):

• Active Hawaii real estate license (must be willing to leave current brokerage)
• Experience in vacation rentals, hospitality, or property management
• Familiarity with pricing tools (PriceLabs, Beyond, Wheelhouse, KeyData)
• Experience using Track or similar property management systems
• Basic repair/maintenance skills
