Responsibilities

  • Generate New Business:
    • Develop and maintain relationships with Realtors, builders, financial advisors, and other referral sources.
    • Actively prospect for new clients through networking events, social media, and community involvement.
  • Consult with Borrowers:
    • Guide clients through mortgage product options to find the best loan solutions based on their financial goals.
    • Pre-qualify and pre-approve borrowers by reviewing income, credit, and asset documentation.
  • Loan Origination and Pipeline Management:
    • Take complete and accurate loan applications.
    • Manage the loan pipeline to ensure all required documents are collected and loans close on time.
    • Communicate proactively with borrowers, Realtors, and internal teams to keep all parties informed.
  • Compliance and Risk Management:
    • Ensure all loan files meet regulatory and company compliance standards.
    • Stay updated on current lending guidelines, products, and market trends.
  • Customer Experience Management:
    • Deliver a high-quality borrower experience from initial consultation to post-closing follow-up.
    • Handle any client concerns promptly to maintain satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Marketing and Personal Brand Development:
    • Utilize company-provided marketing tools to stay visible to your database and referral network.
    • Create co-branded campaigns and manage social media presence to drive lead generation.

Qualifications

  • Active NMLS License required.
  • Proven track record of success in mortgage loan origination (minimum 2 years preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of conventional, FHA, VA, and other loan products.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative sales skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a production pipeline.
  • Proficiency with mortgage industry software and CRM platforms is a plus.

Compensation

$125,000 - $225,000 USD Yearly

This is a commission based position.
