Your Opportunity

The Assistant PM is responsible for supporting the Senior Project Manager in oversight of project quality control, relaying information between contractors as needed and materials management. The main responsibilities for the APM include the following:

  • Meet with contractors as needed
  • Check job sites regularly - inspect what we expect
  • Documenting and keeping track of changes during project phase and communicate to Estimator
  • Get permits
  • Update clients with status on each project daily
  • Predict resources needed and manage those resources in an efficient way
  • Purchase materials - lighting, tile, fixtures, etc.
  • Keep track of project costs in order to meet budget
  • Responsible for punch lists 
  • Ensuring work is done to standards
  • Hang lockboxes
  • Inventory of sentrilocks and combos
  • Checks each vacant property once a week
  • Removes lockboxes after final walk through

Responsibilities

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communication
    • Facilitate effective communication between project team members, contractors, and clients
    • Record daily updates on scope of work
  • Scheduling
    • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to project specifications
    • Assist in the planning, scheduling, and coordination of construction projects
  • Construction Materials 
    • Coordinate materials needed based on scope of work, purchasing and returns
  • Transportation
    • Driving to job sites within DC, VA and MD. Reliable transportation with room for job supplies is a must, having a truck with a bed is a plus, but not required.

Technology Requirements:

  • Proficiency Level - Intermediate 
    • Meaning you navigate smartphones and desktops with ease. Entering data, photo taking, sending and recalling information is a natural skill to you

The ideal candidate will have a history in construction, real estate or a passion to dive right in and learn the industry. This is the perfect opportunity for you if you are reliable with a positive can-do attitude. Spanish speaking is a PLUS!


This position requires an individual to be extremely dependable, have a keen attention to detail and the ability to work well with lots of moving pieces in a fast paced business. The Assistant PM is responsible for supporting the Senior Project Manager in oversight of project quality control, relaying information between contractors as needed and materials management.

Compensation

$55,000 - $75,000 USD Yearly
